We recently took some of our registered families on a day trip to Sewerby Hall, Zoo and Gardens. A fabulous day was had by all attending.

We arranged for a coach to leave the Street in Scarborough town centre for 10am in the morning. Its a great place to meet for the coach; as not only has it got lots of space for those who need it, the building itself has disabled friendly facilities and its fairly central making it an easy place to get too for all public transport links for those that need it.

Once we arrived at Sewerby Hall, everyone was issued with their own wristband. This gave each person access to the grounds, the zoo, the stately home and everything else in-between.

There is no pressure to stay together as a group once we are at a venue, so families are free to go and do their own thing and enjoying making memories with their own families.

The sun was shining, their was a theatre performance on the grass, there was a treasure hunt inside the hall for the children to take part in as well as dress up activity for those who wanted to take part.

Sewerby Hall has a lovely zoo full of penguins, llama, ring tailed lemur, goats, emu, parrots and many more. And it was enjoyed by all.

They have a wonderful cafe, gift shop and multiple parks for the children and adults to play a like. Outdoor games and toys out on the green and even a miniature golf course. So much to do and an all round fabulous trip. We cant wait to see you all at the next one!
